Last games of the season (5/5/12)

The Firsts had no match today, having played their rescheduled game against Brussels British on 31/3. Ironically enough we beat them that day, which means that two years in a row the league title has mathematically ended in a match in which FC Irlande beat Brussels British! However, this year, British were the league winners - a result which was unexpected right up to the last minute - La Lorraine needed to beat Ettekijs to win the title, but Ettekijs, fighting relegation, beat them 2-0. A result which, combined with Tourinnois beating Forestois, means that Ettekijs do stay in Div 1 while Forestois are relegated along with St. Georges. Tourinnois with their win leapfrog both us and Forestoise (with the e) into 4th place, and we finish 6th.

FC Irlande AGM - Monday 7/5/12 in ROFC Stockel Clubhouse

Lads, The AGM takes place on Monday May 7th in ROFC Stockel (Chaussée de Stockel 376) at 19.30. This is a vital opportunity for everyone to have their say in how this wonderful club of ours is run, and to help us all make it even better.

Magnificent Last Day of Home Games (28/4/12)

What a day! Our last home games of the season were a magnificent success – four victories out of four, a magnificent BBQ, and over 500 euros already raised for Serve The City!

Our FCI Brussels 20K Running team Needs YOUR help! Please sponsor our runners!‏

Dear Ladies and Lads,

You'll all have heard our slogan: “FC Irlande - more than a football club in the heart of Brussels”.

This year we want to strengthen this slogan by starting a hopefully long tradition of FCI folks running the Brussels 20K - in support of a well deserving charity.  We feel it is important that as well as playing some great football, and organizing fun social events and club fundraisers, that we as a club also try to make an impact for those less fortunate than us.
